A 60-year-old man has been charged in connection with a series of attacks on cars in Dundee.
The arrest came a week after residents in seven streets in Stobswell and Maryfield reported that their cars had been damaged while parked at the roadside.
The car owners were left facing bills for hundreds of pounds each after the bodywork of their vehicles was scratched. The incident led to calls for CCTV cameras to be installed in the area and the police increased their patrols.
The man, who has not been named, was initially taken into custody but was released after being charged in relation to more than 30 offences.
He is to appear at court at a date that has yet to be fixed.
