A 51-year-old Dundee man has been convicted of two counts of rape following a seven-day trial at the city’s High Court.
Ian Donaldson, of Tweed Crescent, was found guilty by majority on both charges by a jury of seven men and eight women.
They took one and a half hours to reach their verdict on Tuesday.
Donaldson had earlier denied raping a female while she was asleep and under the influence of alcohol at a property in Dundee between September 1, 1997, and November 27, 1997.
He had further denied supplying another female with tablets, raping her and making indecent remarks to her between February 21, 2005, and February 20, 2006.
Judge John Morris remanded Donaldson in custody and added his name to the sex offenders register.
He will be sentenced at the High Court in Edinburgh on April 5.
