Dundee United manager Peter Houston faces Kingsway speeding charge

Dundee United manager Peter Houston has been charged with speeding on the city’s Kingsway.
The incident occurred in December when he was clocked doing more than 70mph in a 50 zone.
He was reported to the procurator fiscal by Tayside Police and the case called at the Justice of the Peace Court on Thursday.
Houston (53), of Baillieston in Glasgow, who did not appear in person, is charged with driving at 74.27mph on December 13 at Kingsway West, on a stretch of road where the speed limit is 50mph.
The case was continued without plea in his absence until March 8.
A spokesman for the club said they would not comment as it was a private matter.
