Aldi store will be part of efforts to revive Stack park

Aldi is to occupy the new food store at the Stack in Lochee, it has emerged.
A planning application has been submitted for signs for the store, which will take over part of the former 10-pin bowling alley at the run-down leisure park.
The chain already has one outlet in Dundee, on Arbroath Road.
Planning permission for a food store was granted recently after the city council decided it would improve customer choice but not harm shops on nearby Lochee High Street.
The Stack is being redeveloped by TJ Morris, which has used the other half of the Megabowl for one of its own Home Bargains stores.
It has already carried out environmental improvements and is trying to attract more tenants.
