A Dundee model failed to secure a place in the Miss Universe competition after competing in the UK finals on Saturday. Leonna Sylvester, 25, had hoped to bring the title home to Scotland but her hopes were dashed at the competition in London. She studied business and finance at university and has been involved in modelling since she was 21, winning Miss Trinidad and Tobago 2011 and 2012.
