‘Face of Dundee’ is made up of features from both people born and those who live in Dundee.
As we previously reported, Dr Chris Watkins of the Human Relationships Laboratory at Abertay University turned photographer for the project, convincing people to donate their faces to science.
The image is a composite of as many eyes, ears, noses, lips, cheeks and chins as possible.
The final image took more than 40 hours to create, and was made by averaging the shape, colour and texture features of everyone who contributed to the project.
In Friday’s Courier, read what Dundonians we spoke to think of the face. Plus, we reveal our very own famous face of Dundee.
