ASDA Kirkton colleagues have created Scotland’s biggest Christmas jumper in aid of Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day 2014.
Measuring four and a half metres across, it took a team of six almost one month to complete the gigantic sweater.
Colleagues at the store will be helping raise as much money as possible by holding fundraising activities and all in store will be wearing jumpers for Christmas Jumper Day on Friday.
Store manager Sarah Wilson said: “Last year we raised hundreds of pounds through our Christmas appeal but we want to smash that amount this Christmas for Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day.
“Our colleagues are getting ready to don the wool and lead the way. I hope our customers will join in the fun and support this great charity.”
Now in its third year, Christmas Jumper Day has raised £1.6 million to date.
