The principal of Dundee and Angus College has announced she is to retire in August.
Christina Potter led the merger of Dundee and Angus Colleges in March 2013.
She said: “When I took on the role I had intended to remain at the college until August 2016 however, I have decided that the end of this academic year is the right time for me to retire.”
She added: “This academic year will conclude much of the transition and integration that merger brought about and, from August the College will move into a new phase and will require renewed energy and innovation to meet its 2020 vision and ambitions.”
Angela McCusker, chairwoman of the college board, paid tribute and said: “Myself, and the board would like to thank Christina for leading a dynamic and successful college, and wish her every happiness in her retirement.”
