Woman in hospital with neck injury after road collision in Dundee

A woman was taken to hospital with a suspected neck injury following a two car crash on Charleston Drive.
The woman, who is believed to be in her mid-50s, was the driver in a car traveling along Charleston Drive which collided with another vehicle coming out of a driveway at 11.56am.
The impact caused the woman’s car to veer off the road and into a wall before continuing on into the back of a van.
Paramedics used a stretcher to remove the woman from her vehicle and she was also given a neck support as she was suffering neck pain.
She was taken by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital arriving just before 1pm.
The female driver of the other car was uninjured.
Police officers also attended the incident were directing traffic through one lane while the recovery operation was ongoing.
