Grove Academy has been named as a finalist in the Scottish Education Awards.
It has been shortlisted in the global citizenship category for its cross-curricular work on development and aid, climate change and world religions.
Pupils have also taken part in an international exchange programme and worked on projects such as Eco Schools Scotland and Lessons from Auschwitz.
Councillor Stewart Hunter, city council education convener, said: “Teachers and staff in our classrooms and schools use many innovative methods to engage the imaginations of pupils and inspire their learning.”
The awards ceremony will be held in Glasgow on June 10.
