Motorcyclist taken to hospital after crash in Dundee
ByThe Courier Reporter
A motorcyclist has been taken by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital after a crash at a busy Dundee junction.
No other vehicle was involved in the incident at the junction of Pitkerro Road and Morgan Street about 5.30pm on Tuesday.
Eyewitnesses said the rider seemed to skid on the wet road surface. There was a question over whether this was caused by water or a prior diesel spill on the road.
An ambulance was called and the motorcyclist was taken to hospital. He is not thought to be seriously hurt.
The fire service were called to wash the suspected diesel spill from the roadway.
