A woman had to be removed from her car by stretcher after she collided with a parked car in Broughty Ferry shortly before 3pm. An eyewitness said she hit the car at speed and emergency services rushed to the scene outside St Luke’s Church in West Queen Street. A spokesman for the Scottish Ambulance Service confirmed they attended at 3pm to a 63-year-old female involved in a single-vehicle crash. She was taken to Ninewells Hospital with a potential neck injury. A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire service said they attended at 2.55pm and confirmed no one was trapped. Firefighters helped disconnect batteries and made the area safe.
