Police are investigating after a 24-carat gold-plated rose was stolen from a graveside in Dundee. The flower was taken from Balgay Cemetery between May 1 and May 14. The rose, which had been through a gold-dipping process, had painted pink petals and green leaves. Officers say the family are very upset by the theft and anxious to their property to be found. Anyone with information is being urged to contact Police Scotland on 101. Information can be passed via the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
