Travellers have fled a Dundee site leaving tons of detritus in their wake.
The startling rubbish haul left at Jack Martin Way includes three whole caravans with bedding, clothes and cooking utensils still inside.
Piles of rubbish including gas canisters, prophylactics, dirty nappies and vomit-filled plastic bags are also littered across the Fintry site.
An empty rabbit hutch could be seen along with children’s toys, bottles and cans, while a nearby utility box also appeared to have been stripped.
Travellers had occupied the council-owned road for two weeks but have moved on. Dundee City Council recently began legal action against them.
It is believed some of the members of the site were working as bricklayers and huge piles of broken masonry have also been dumped at the rural location.
One Fintry resident, who did not want to be identified for fear of retribution, said: “It is disgusting. They have dumped everything.
“I don’t know how the council are going to clean it all up. They seem to be able to get away with things that would land normal people in serious trouble.”
Dundee City Council has installed boulders and iron defences in an attempt to stop the Travellers returning to the site.
A team from the environment department is now working to clean up the mess.
