A Dundee wrestling company has announced that two internet sensations are set to arrive at their spandex-clad show on Saturday.
Scottish Wrestling Entertainment, which has shows in both Dundee and Perth, has announced that Scottish wrestler Grado and former WWE superstar Colt Cabana are to appear at their Hellbound event at Kirkton Community Centre.
Graeme ‘Grado’ Stevenson found fame for his comedic wrestling style on the BBC’s Insane Fight Club documentary. Colt Cabana found fame in giant organisation WWE.
However, after being released he created his own online fan base with his Podcast The Art of Wrestling, where he interviews top wrestling talent.
Colt has also been appearing at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
David Low, the event organiser who also wrestles under the name Braveheart, said the influx of talent is down to the positive perception of the Tayside organisation throughout the world.
He said: “We have a great relationship with the wrestlers, companies, and wrestling promotions we deal with all over the world.”
