Alex Salmond was mobbed by supporters as he campaigned for independence on the streets of Dundee today.
It took the First Minister an hour and a half to make his way from the Yes Dundee store near the city’s bus station to Castle Street, such was the volume of people clamouring to have “selfies” taken with him.
He had more than 100 pictures taken with people on the Marketgait as shoppers and camapaigners surrounded him.
Dundee City West MSP Joe Fitzpatrick said: “It was an absolutely fantastic response. You can see why people are calling Dundee Scotland’s Yes city.”
