A 16-year-old boy has admitted threatening staff at a secondary school with violence.
Appearing at Dundee Sheriff Court, Andrew Millar, of Finmore Street, pleaded guilty to behaving in a threatening and abusive manner and challenging staff to fight during an incident at Baldragon Academy on Friday.
Millar was not a pupil at the school but entered the premises looking for his ex-partner.
Depute fiscal Charmaine Gilmartin said: “He was seen by staff frantically checking doors and heard shouting ‘I need to find her. She’s no’ going to steal money from me’.”
He was asked to leave by a member of staff who ushered him towards a stairwell, but Millar became abusive, attracting other staff members to intervene.
Mrs Gilmartin said: “He continued to shout and swear and said ‘If you touch me I’ll have you’ and ‘you’re dead’ towards the teacher.
“Staff were concerned the accused was a danger to pupils and staff so decided to call the police.”
Sheriff Elizabeth Munro deferred sentence until November 25 and told Millar she was imposing a special condition not to approach or contact his ex-girlfriend to “test” him.
