A Dundee store is being plagued by one crafty gull that has become an online hit.
The Premier Store within the Dundee University Union has been regularly looted by Steven Seagull, the name given to the pesky bird by staff at the store.
Retail Services Manager Grant Scrimgeour, who initially posted the video online, hopes the light-hearted video catches the attention of shoppers.
He said: “During the summer seagulls always just wander in, but we thought it would be a funny to take the video and show it online.
“We only launched our Facebook a couple of weeks ago, and we want to promote the store and engage with the students. I haven’t checked it in a while but I’m pretty sure we are getting hundreds of likes, and that’s a really positive thing for the store.”
The bird is still on the run, and can be identified by his white, feather-covered body, as well as noticeable grey wings and orange beak, which he uses to secure his loot.
