Police investigate assault on teenager in Caird Park

Police are investigating an assault on a teenager in a Dundee park.
The 16-year-old male was struck by a man in Caird Park at around 5,50pm on Thursday.
The suspect is in his 20’s, was wearing a white baseball cap, a white pullover with blue panels under the arms and grey jogging bottoms.
About this time, a small turquoise car was parked in the car park at the east side of the park near to the access road from Forfar Road and Police are looking to trace the driver.
A dog training group was setting up about this time and police are looking to speak to anyone from this group who may have witnessed the assault or saw the suspect.
Police are also keen to trace a witness who briefly spoke with two young men in the underpass between Morrisons and Caird Park.
He is described as white, 30’s, bald and wearing a white t-shirt with pink/red panel on the front.
