VIDEO: Dundee actor back among the stars at What We Did On Our Holiday premiere

It’s not every day a Dundee teenager gets the chance to rub shoulders with a Dr Who, a world-famous comedian and a family of award-winning actors.
But for 19-year-old former Dundee High School pupil Lewis Davie that was exactly the scenario as he spent weeks in the company of David Tennant and Billy Connolly along with Ben Miller and Rosamund Pike, filming a movie in various locations across Scotland.
That was a year ago, and on Monday night Lewis joined up with the entire cast and crew for the world premiere of new British film, What We Did On Our Holiday, which was filmed on location near Gairloch.
The star-studded bash at the Odeon in Leicester Square was also attended by directors Andy Hamilton and Guy Jenkin, the team who brought us the TV smash Outnumbered.

Dundee University computing student Lewis told The Courier: “It was good to catch up with Billy Connolly again, I haven’t seen him since last year. He was in great form as always.”
What We Did On Our Holiday is on general release on Friday.
