Hundreds of people from around the world took part but Kerin Jacobs, founder of The Raw Stone, said Joanne’s entry was one of a kind. “The contours of the design complement the rough shape of the diamond extremely well,” she said. Joanna, who is a graduate of Duncan of Jordanstone College, has won a yellow rough diamond as her prize. She is artist in residence at Vanilla Ink Studios and is working on new collections to be launched next year.
