Dundees Relay for Life was a major success at the weekend, despite heavy rain overnight. Almost 300 volunteers battled the elements to take part in the 24-hour event, which raises tens of thousands of pounds for Cancer Research UK each year. The 280 people taking part have so far raised £18,462 for Cancer Research UK but organisers expect that figure could reach £30,000 as donations remain open until the end of September.
