A major Dundee road was closed for over an hour on Monday after a big lump of masonry fell from a tenement block.
The facing material dropped to the pavement between Dexys public house and the entrance to the block at number eight in Arbroath Road.
Pedestrians were in the area around the time but no-one was struck by the falling debris.
Police quickly closed off the street while firefighters using a hydraulic platform assisted a council officer to inspect the property and ensure it was safe.
The operation began shortly after 2.15pm and the street was reopened around 3.30pm.
A Dundee City Council spokesman said: “We have been made aware of an incident and a council officer has investigated. No further action is required.”
