Dundee pair accused of threatening brother with sword

Two brothers have appeared on petition at Dundee Sheriff Court accused of wielding weapons in public and threatening to stab a third brother with a sword.
Thomas Mullen, 31, and Dean Mullen, 26, both of Dunmore Street, appeared in private before Sheriff McFarlane.
Thomas Mullen is charged with possession of a sword in a public place, behaving in a threatening and abusive manner and uttering threats.
Dean Mullen faces the same charges and a third charge of possession of a crowbar in a public place.
The case against both was continued for further examination.
Dean Mullen was granted bail and Thomas Mullen was remanded in custody.
