A woman who was involved in a motorcycle accident near Auchterhouse on Thursday has died in hospital. Lynsey Cargill, of Johnshaven, had been riding an MZ motorcycle when she was involved in a collision with a silver Ford Focus. Emergency services rushed to the incident on the B954 near the junction with Auchterhouse, just after 4pm on Thursday. Both the 66-year-old male driver and his 74-year-old male passenger were uninjured. A spokesperson for Police Scotland Tayside Division confirmed Ms Cargill had died on Friday. Police ask any witnesses to the crash or those in the area at the time to contact them on 101.
