Elderly woman escapes serious injury in Broughty Ferry car crash

An elderly driver had a lucky escape after a crash in Broughty Ferry sent her car smashing up on to a wall.
The woman, who is in her 80s, was not seriously injured in this morning’s crash but suffered bruising to her leg and a cut lip when her air bag discharged.
She was looked over by paramedics at the scene before she was taken home by police.
The woman had been heading west along the Dundee Road around 9.50am when she was in a collision with a car that came out of Victoria Road.
The woman’s Citroen then crashed into the wall.
