A Dundee mother of three has been fined £200 after engaging in a “drunken frolic” in two lifts.
Arlene McTaggart, 27, avoided being placed on the sex offenders register, but was handed the fine after admitting carrying out oral sex on Sean Smart, 24, in two Dundee multi lifts.
Fiscal depute Eilidh Robertson said the pair were initially spotted by police on CCTV in a lift at Dallfield Court.
She said McTaggart could clearly be seen performing oral sex on Smart, who was “pressing a number of buttons causing the lift to go up and down stopping at a variety of floors.”
She added: “Although the lift doors opened repeatedly fortunately no one witnessed the act.”
The heavily intoxicated pair, both then residents at Dallfield Court, made their way to Bonnethill Court where the “offence of public indecency” continued, she added.
Sheriff Kenneth McGowan said: “This is clearly a very embarrassing and excruciating situation. I am satisfied you do not need to be placed on the sex offenders register, as deviance does not arise in this case.
“I’m satisfied that this was a drunken frolic and nothing more.”
Her co-accused Sean Smart, of Rosebank Street, had his sentence deferred to April 16.
