A woman bit her boyfriend after he told her he had cheated on her, a court has heard.
Sarah Orr, 28, of Adamson Court, Dundee, admitted the assault when she appeared in the dock at the city’s sheriff court.
Depute fiscal Eilidh Robertson told the court: “On the evening prior to the incident the complainer disclosed to the accused that he had been unfaithful to her.”
The court heard she had turned up at his flat in Elders Court on December 15 with the hope of sorting things out, however she was refused entry and told to go away.
Ms Robertson said: “They had a short argument through the door then she attempted to barge her way into the flat.
“He would not let her past and she bit him on the upper arm, causing it to bleed. The complainer pushed the accused away, however she continued to shout to be let into the flat.”
The complainer phoned the police to get her removed but she had left by the time they arrived.
Defence solicitor Michael Short said Orr believed there was a woman in the house at the time and that was why he would not let her in.
Sheriff McFarlane deferred sentence until October 13 for Orr to be of good behaviour.
