Roadworks chaos which caused misery for Dundee drivers caught up in tailbacks at a major crossroads is finally at an end.
The temporary traffic lights have now been removed from the junction where Albert Street, Arbroath Road, Princes Street and Victoria Road meet in Stobswell.
The roadworks were to allow the four way traffic lights to be fixed but drivers caught in tailbacks in every direction.
The queues reached from the top of Albert Street down to the Olympia roundabout on Tuesday.
A Dundee taxi driver described the ongoing works as a “joke”.
He said: “It has been like this for a couple of days now.”
A Dundee City Council Spokeswoman said: “There is a problem with the signals which has resulted in the use of temporary traffic lights.
“In order to complete essential maintenance works temporary traffic lights have been used to provide a safe working area.
“The temporary traffic lights have now been removed.”
