A man has been charged with sexually assaulting a woman before making off with a car and crashing it.
Gareth Donald, 36, of West Grange Street, Monifieth, is charged with sexually assaulting the woman at Jolly’s Hotel, Broughty Ferry, last month.
He is said to have pushed her, grabbed her by the head and attempted to kiss her.
Donald then allegedly made indecent and inappropriate sexual comments to another woman in the hotel, and placed his arms around her.
The following day, Donald is said to have assaulted a third woman in a property at Clayhills Grove, Dundee.
The charge states he threw liquid over her, repeatedly tried to hit her with a glass and burn her with a cigarette, then pushed her to the ground and repeatedly kicked her on the body, all to her injury.
He is charged with then driving a vehicle without due care and attention on Westfield Road and colliding with a second car, causing it to collide with a third car, damaging them both.
Donald denied the 11 charges against him all of which allegedly happened over two days last month at Dundee Sheriff Court.
A trial was set for October 22, with an intermediate diet on October 7.
