A person has died after jumping from a block of flats in Dundee on Saturday morning.
A member of the public who saw a person jump from the window of Hilltown Court contacted called emergency services shortly before 10am.
Police and ambulances rushed to the multi but were unfortunately not able to do anything for the person, who was confirmed dead at the scene.
A spokesman for Police Scotland’s Tayside Division said: “About 0955hrs, Saturday 17 May 2014, a member of the public reported seeing a person jump from a window at Hilltown Court, Dundee.
“Police immediately attended and on arrival found a person who had unfortunately sustained fatal injuries.
“There are no suspicious circumstances in relation to this incident and as with all sudden deaths a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
A spokesman for the Scottish Ambulance Service said they also received a call from a member of the public.
He said: “We attended with two vehicles but did not transport anyone to hospital.”
Police enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances leading to the incident and are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.
