A Dundee 31-year-old who downloaded almost 60 hours of child abuse videos will be sentenced next month.
Pawel Stefanowski was caught with hundreds of obscene images and clips of children as young as nine, when police raided his Fullarton Street home in September.
Fiscal depute Trina Sinclair told Dundee Sheriff Court that officers were eventually admitted entry to his home after Stefanowski instructed his distressed wife over the phone from Aberdeen to let them in.
Two laptops and three hard drives were retrieved and a number of files were found.
Stefanowski admitted between January 22 and September 8 last year at his home address, taking or permitting to be taken or made indecent photographs or pseudo photographs of children.
He also admitted distributing or showing photographs or pseudo photographs of children.
Sheriff Elizabeth Munro deferred sentence on Stefanowski until July 31.
