Custom car enthusiasts revved into a Dundee retail park in their thousands on Saturday, pulling crowds from far and wide.
Kingsway Retail Park was filled with vehicles of all shapes and sizes from modified machines to classic cruisers. If it had wheels, it was welcome!
Ferraris parked up next to Fiestas but one of the star attractions was a Toyota Supra Drift car, which had to be brought in by trailer as it is so powerful it is not allowed on public roads.
Other highlights included an old V-Spec Skyline, one of only 10 in Europe, brought by owner John Beela. A Caterham kit car, a flat-pack vehicle that hobbyists can build themselves, even pulled up at the event.
Organiser James Stephen, of Fife-based N/A Nonsense car club, said: “We filled the car park, which we were hoping to do but we didn’t expect to be able to do it in the rain.
“The cars on show were really impressive and we welcome everyone. These events always bring a good range of cars and we had quite a lot of motorbikes as well.
“The drift car brought quite a lot of the crowds in. People came from all four corners of Scotland and there were also a group from just south of Carlisle, a couple who took the ferry over from Shetland and I heard a couple even came up from Manchester.”
There was even a proposal on the day as one man chose to pop the big question during the event.
The day proved fun for all the family with people of all ages turning out to see the cars and some of them even brought their dogs.
Held in conjunction with Dundee club Chasing Seven and Aberdeen-based Track and Street Grampian, the gathering is to become an annual event in the city.
Donations were also collected during the event for Beatson Cancer Charity after one of the participants was diagnosed with cancer. Thankfully, they recently received the all clear.
The black Toyota Supra Drift will also be in action at Knockhill on September 21 when N/A Nonsense holds its 2FIFE 2FURIOUS Paul Walker tribute day.
