A group of Dundee musicians are celebrating an important date in the life of their “God” with a charity gig in a local church.
All Souls’ Church on Main Street is the unusual venue for the show, but the “God” in question is musician Nick Cave, whose return this month with his 20th album release is being seen as something of a resurrection.
The event also celebrates the Presentation of Jesus at the Temple, one of the 12 Great Feasts.
Hookers for Jesus, The Onion Club, Sleepers, Duncan Doherty Campbell & Quinn present The Orc Mischief, [Box], Blood Indians, Stuart Strachan and Gary Phillips will all play.
Doors open at 7.30pm on Saturday, with all proceeds going to Christian Aid.
