Vandals have caused around £2,000 worth of damage to a businessman’s van.
Graham Letford, who owns Discovery Home Improvements, has been left to pick up the bill after his vehicle was targeted with paintstripper and had its tyres slashed.
The van was parked at his son Greg’s home in Denhead Road on Monday night.
Mr Letford said: “When my son said that there was green gunge over the van, I knew what it was right away.
“I told him to get as much of it off as soon as possible. The van is only a year old it’s actually sickening.
“It was parked up from about 7.30pm so it must have happened through the night.”
