Christopher Jardine was last seen at his home in Forest Park Place at around 10.30pm on Monday. Police found his car parked at Riverside Drive on Tuesday morning, sparking a major search. Coastguard rescue teams from Carnoustie and Arbroath searched the River Tay from Dundee to Broughty Ferry but nothing was found. Mr Jardine is described as 5ft 7in, with short, grey hair. When last seen he was wearing light blue pyjamas, navy dressing gown and slippers. He also wears glasses. His family declined to comment when approached by The Courier last night.
