Plans to open a new craft beer bar in Dundee have been announced by BrewDog.
Doors to the Aberdeenshire brewery’s specialist bar could open as early as the end of May in the city’s Panmure Street.
The so-called captain of BrewDog, James Watt, made the announcement to his 20,900 followers on Twitter on Friday evening.
He posted: “Just signed the deal for BrewDog Dundee. Opens late May 2014.”
The home-grown craft beers business started in 2007 when its creators James Watt and Martin Dickie launched their own brewery selling produce from stalls and out of the back of a van.
From these humble beginnings the company has expanded to become Scotland’s largest independent brewery.
