Dundee waterfront project brings another change to bridge traffic system
ByNews reporter
Motorists in Dundee are dealing with more changes to the city’s seemingly ever-changing road network as the realignment of the waterfront area continues.
Friday has seen yet more alterations as preparations are made for the demolition of Tayside House, the former regional council headquarters.
Traffic leaving Dundee for Fife from the Riverside Roundabout will no longer use the current bridge entry ramp, which is being sealed off.
Instead, vehicles heading towards Fife use the former bridge off-ramp, which was still being used by traffic until a fortnight ago when a new exit was opened.
The changes are just the latest phase in the multi-million-pound transformation of the Dundee waterfront.
A new on-ramp for traffic heading towards Fife from the east of the city was opened earlier this month.
