The drawn poster was left on a bench in Beach Crescent and asks why cancer had to take the child’s “amazing” granny. Hundreds of people walk past the bench every day, and many have stopped to read the heartfelt message. It adds: “Why did you have to die? You were amazing and fun to be with. Love you so much.” The bench features a dedication plaque and it seems the poster was left to mark the third anniversary of the woman’s death.
