Pensioner killed in Dundee road collision identified

A pensioner who died in a road accident in Dundee has been identified by police.

Catherine Gourlay (89) was killed in the collision on Blackness Road, near to the junction with Ashbank Street, on Sunday morning.

Officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

A police statement said: “Mrs Gourlay’s family are understandably upset by their sudden loss and have said that she will be greatly missed.”
