ByThe Courier Reporter
A 38-year-old thug led a man with learning difficulties down a lane and punched him on the head four times.
Michael Rice then robbed his vulnerable victim of £5 and a handful of coins, Dundee Sheriff Court heard.
As a result of the attack, the victim, who lives in supported accommodation, is now “too frightened” to leave his home without assistance.
Rice, of Brougham Gardens, Dundee, admitted assaulting a man by repeatedly punching him on the head to his injury and robbing him of a sum of money on July 19 last year at Sugarhouse Wynd.
He says he did not know his victim had learning disabilities.
Sentence was deferred until June 8 for reports.
