Collision involving police car closes street in Dundee

Police Scotland are appealing for witnesses following a collision between a police car and a motor car on the Forfar Road in Dundee.
The collision happened at around 8pm.
The Scottish Ambulance Service confirmed they attended, but that there were no injuries.
A section of the Forfar road was closed while police carried out enquries into the smash but it has now been reopened.
Police could not confirm whether the vehicle was responding to an emergency call at the time of the incident.
A police spokesperson said: “Police Scotland in Dundee are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision involving a motor car and a Police vehicle on Forfar Road, Dundee at about 20.00 hours Saturday 16th May 2015.
“A section of Forfar Road was closed whilst police carried out enquiries into the incident. The road has now been reopened.
“Anyone who was in the area at the time and may have information that could assist officers with their enquiries is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.”
