Youths hit golf balls from roof of Dundee charity’s building

Reckless youths climbed on to the roof of a youth charity to hit golf balls off the building.
The incident, at the Attic Lounge on Beauly Avenue in Dundee, was discussed at a meeting of Kirkton Tackle Crime, which was held in Kirkton Community Centre.
Attic Lounge community worker Jon Vaughan described how a group had been hitting golf balls from the roof of the building a few weeks ago.
In another incident, vandals smashed one of the window’s of the charitable organisation, which works with young people.
The vandalism took place on Thursday May 14 at around 7.20pm. Police are investigating.
