Police attend Menzieshill High School after report of fight

Police were called to Menzieshill High School today following reports of two pupils fighting.

Three marked police cars were seen pulling up at the school in Yarrow Terrace and an ambulance was also summoned.

In the event it wasn’t needed, but the authorities were not able to confirm whether anyone had been hurt.

Eyewitnesses spoke of seeing a girl being handcuffed and put into the rear of a police car.

Police Scotland would not elaborate but confirmed: “Police Scotland attended at a high school in Dundee at 12pm today following a disturbance. Enquiries are ongoing.”
