Police drugs raid in Dundonald Street

Police in Dundee descended on a property in the city’s Dundonald Street today on a drugs search.

Neighbours saw five vehicles arriving shortly after 8am as officers with a warrant entered a flat.

The search took some time, but Police Scotland later confirmed it had proved fruitless, with no drugs recovered.

A spokeswoman said: “Police officers did attend at a property in Dundonald Street to carry out a search warrant.

“They recovered nothing of evidential value.”
