Yobs fined after attacking bouncers at Liquid nightclub

Two bouncers were attacked by a gang of nine men during a fight at a Dundee nightclub at the weekend.

The door stewards were assaulted as they escorted the group from Liquid on South Ward Road in the early hours of Saturday.

Police later traced two of the men responsible for the attack and both were issued with a fine. However, no arrests were made in connection with the incident.

A spokeswoman for the nightclub played down the scale of the disturbance, describing it as “a minor incident”.
