Used nappies and urine were thrown at a Dundee medical centre by a group of yobs after they were refused access to its toilets.
Horrified staff at the Douglas Medical Centre, on Balunie Avenue, said there had been several upsetting incidents in recent weeks.
It has escalated to the point that one worker said colleagues now feared for their safety, after finding their place of work repeatedly targeted.
Police confirmed they have received at least one report of antisocial behaviour directed towards the centre.
The staff member said: “People had asked to use the toilets in the medical centre first thing in the morning.
“Because there were so many requests, staff at the centre could not allow this to happen, especially as the centre was open to patients who might also want to use the facilities.
“As a result of being refused permission to use the toilets, some people decided to throw bottles of urine and used nappies at the building and windows.
“On one occasion, someone used the area at the front door of the centre as a toilet.”
She said patients and staff felt “intimidated” by the behaviour.
East End councillor Will Dawson said it is upsetting to hear the centre had been targeted, saying: “This is disgusting and unacceptable.
“Anyone with concerns about behaviour of this kind should notify the police immediately.”
