‘Thank you’ Nadir Ciftci uses pages of The Courier to send message to Dundee United fans

Nadir Ciftci has used the pages of The Courier to say a personal thanks to Dundee United fans.

After his move to Celtic last week, the Turkish striker wanted to send a message to the Tangerine faithful.

In a special advert in today’s sport section of our paper, he says: “I had two great seasons at United and I’m really thankful for that. Everyone at the club – the staff, the fans,

my team-mates – they made me really welcome.

“It’s obviously really tough to leave a club like that, after two beautiful seasons…”

Ciftci has joined former Dundee United team-mates Stuart Armstrong and Gary Mackay-Steven at Parkhead.
