Vandals have damaged a building site near a Dundee primary school.
Police are now hunting the thugs who smashed a control panel and the cab shield of a dumper truck before ripping open bags of cement.
They also stole a 15-litre green fuel can and damaged a fence in the attack on Balmerino Road, which is thought to have happened between 5pm on Monday and 7.15am on Tuesday.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland, Tayside Division, said: “In appealing for information to trace those responsible, officers advise that the perpetrators may have had traces of cement on their clothing following the incident and would ask that anyone who saw or heard suspicious activity at the time to call 101.
“Alternatively contact be made anonymously via the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
