Slide N Fly Facebook page promises ‘the ride of your life’ in Dundee

Mystery surrounds details of an online site seeming to claim a massive water slide is coming to Dundee.

The Slide N Fly page has been liked almost 2,000 times of Facebook with scores of Dundonians signing up to attend by the hour.

The page tempts users with a picture and video of a huge water slide that shows a man flying off a ramp into a splash pool.

However once it has been clicked there are no details giving a location or time.

The page states the event will come to the city on August 29 but on closer inspection it also lists numerous other events in towns and cities across the UK on the same date.

It reads: “Summer 2015 brings you the most exhilarating water event to ever hit Dundee!

“This event is free admission!

“You just show up and be ready for the ride of your life!

“We need your support to make this happen, Please JOIN, SHARE the Event & INVITE your friends!

“More info & city tour dates coming very soon!”
